The Committee of state sanitary-epidemiological control of the Ministry of Health care of Kazakhstan suggested banning the sales of energy drinks to people who haven't reached the age of 21 years old, says the correspondent of Tengrinews.kz. It was told in the committee that at that moment the issue of harmful impact of energy drinks on health, when they are injested in excessive quantities, was vigorously discussed in the country. The Ministry is planning to hold «the round table» on this theme with the participation of experts and business communities.

Besides, according to recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), in order to reduce the negative impact of marketing on consumers, especially on children, the Committee is planning to make changes in legislation on some issues as soon as possible.
